After over 29 years of working in law enforcement, Doug Justus
has covered all areas of the field, from misdemeanors to homicide, for the City
of Portland, Oregon. He has arrested over 1,200 suspects and written over 2,800
reports but it was the Federal Human Trafficking Task Force that opened his
eyes to this growing global epidemic. He worked on two missions of Operation
Cross Country, which involved coordinating with the FBI to rescue juvenile
victims of human trafficking. He has become an expert leader in this field and
is on high demand as a public speaker and media consultant.
Justus has appeared on Dan Rather Reports & HDNet’s “Pornland”, on episodes
of “Americas Most Wanted” with John Walsh, and joined The CNN Freedom Project
in an effort to help find Kelsey Collins. Sgt. Justus is available for speaking
engagements, presentations, and as an expert correspondent to the media. Topics
include: Human Trafficking, Gang Enforcement and Education, and
Crimes/Homicide.
